Senior Financial Analyst (English and Japanese Speaking)

What You'll Do
Analyze the trends of Key Performance Indicators (KPI), especially relating to financial metrics such as sales, expenditures, and profit margin.
Prepare monthly analysis of rate performance, including expense and base information on a year over year, year to date and full year basis. Work with finance staff to identify and correct issues; recommend improvements to current forecasting / budgeting processes.
Assist in establishing a template for profit centre revenue, cost of sales, gross margin, discretionary spending through profit (loss) and cost centre cost, base, and rate budgets.
Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
Guide the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures.
Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools.
Facilitate Japan HQ internal control enhancement project if/when appropriate.
Perform ad hoc analysis for executives as required.
What You'll Need
BA or BS degree required (Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics).
2-4 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, financial planning & analysis, investment banking, or other related fields.
Understanding and experience in SOX controls.
High proficiency in financial modeling techniques.
Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions.
Strong analytical and data gathering skills.
Working proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English and Japanese language.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Motivated, independent, a self-starter and a versatile team player who possesses a strong sense of urgency in attending to issues in a timely manner and able to meet tight deadlines.
