Our lunchtime chat series continues as we speak to Lidwina Anjani Putri, also known simply as Putri. She won the most recent MVP award at the 2017 Q1 All-Hands Meeting – and talks to us from our Jakarta office.
My first job was with a digital agency, which I began in September 2014. I started as an Account Planner, and got a promotion to Sales Group Head the year after. My duties included budget planning for digital, client servicing, sales, and managing a small team.
I was looking for a new opportunity to take my career to the next level and I felt that AdAsia Holdings had exactly what I was looking for.
I was also really attracted to the fact that AdAsia is growing so fast in this digital industry of the future, so I really wanted to be a part of that shiny future!
The digital industry is one that I believe is the most dynamic one at the moment, with tons of potential for growth. To me, digital is the future, and that brings with it many more opportunities.
I started in AdAsia in November 2016, and my role is much the same as in my last job, planning budgets, servicing clients, and leading the Business Development Team. As for goals, I aim to help grow AdAsia bigger and bigger. I believe in this path that I’m on, and I’m here to push my passion to the fullest and do my very best!
There’s no greater pleasure than when your job is your passion. As for the company, not only is the environment great, but the ID team is basically my second family. We support each other in the hardest times and have lots of fun together in the good times. They truly are like family to me!
I’m a very straightforward person, and I set very ambitious goals for myself. Other than that, I’m very communicative and comfortable talking to anyone, even if I have just met them for the first time!
Hard work is extremely important. I believe in the saying, ‘There is no sweet without sweat’. Success belongs to those who work hard and with a positive mindset!
Secondly, always do your best in the present situation! Stay true to yourself, and never forget to be grateful in any situation.
My mother! She’s my world, my life. She means everything to me.
We can have huge wealth, a gorgeous partner, the nicest friends. But still, no one can replace the sincere love that only Mum can give.
