Ad tech and e-commerce veteran joins AdAsia Holdings
AdAsia Holdings, a technology company developing solutions in artificial intelligence (AI) and marketing, has announced today the appointment of Sam Tam as Vice President, Hong Kong.
Tam was most recently Chief Marketing Officer at Russian advertising technology outfit DCA Asia Limited. Prior to that, he held leadership roles in e-commerce and ad tech companies including Vice President, Business Development of Ensogo and Director, Global Alliance at Japanese advertising technology firm, Metaps.

Tam will lead AdAsia Holding’s operations in Hong Kong and reports to Kosuke Sogo, CEO and co-founder, AdAsia Holdings. “Sam, similar to Vivian Yen in Taiwan, has a remarkable track record in the industry. At the same time, he displays outstanding enthusiasm to bring his industry know-how and regional expertise to the table. This considerably enhances our efforts in Greater China, enabling our clients to better achieve their business goals,” said Sogo.
The Singapore-headquartered company began operations in April 2016, and currently has 10 offices in nine countries, including recent office expansions in Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City and Tokyo. The company has a total headcount of over 220 staff and more than 350 clients globally. Additionally, AdAsia Holdings generated upwards of US$12.9 million in revenue in 2016, has been operating at a profit since then and is seeing an average of 30% quarter-on-quarter increase in revenue for 2017.
